Being a foreign raised American girl has afforded me many different experiences in my lifetime. Many of them good–many of them bad. Some of these experiences are from my unenviable talent of being at the wrong place, at the right time. Others are from my uncanny ability to make the absolutely wrong choices and still come away with some bits of my dignity intact. I hope these stories provide some humor and remind us all that sometimes the only way we ever can learn is by smashing our hand unto a burning stove.
